Good job on the Tuffy hood lock install. I used a Tuffy hood lock on my YJ. I went with the BOLT hood lock to lock the easily opened hood and it has functioned well.

Just as a suggestion, use some painters tape and card board to protect the painted surfaces while dealing with the lock-tited Tuffy locks

I'm liking my Tuffy 282 Security enclosure. Tuffy makes two sizes for the JK/JKU but this version retains full back seat function in the 2 dr JK. Install took less than 5 minutes once two OEM bolts are removed then reinstalled to secure the security enclosure. Removal follows the opposite steps and is just as ez. The security enclosure is made from 16 gauge powder coated steel and the edges have a rubber trim. The upper deck supports weight and all within is secured when the tailgate is closed and locked. The OEM subwoofer might even sound better with the enclosure while my personal belongings will be much safer when driving naked in the Jeep.
