I have a '95 Grand Cherokee Limited that is showing a "Rear Lamp Failure" light on the display panel but all rear lights (tail, brake and hazards) are all working just fine.
Any ideas on how to get rid of this warning message, as it blinks on and off with the time and date all the time.

    Any ideas would be appreciated....thanks.

Silly question...did you check the high (center) brake light? Some models have more than one bulb in the center light any one of which will cause the error light.

No such thing as a silly question, Richard, in a thing like this. Just checked your thought and they were all working BUT, in checking the high brake light with the tailgate raised, I noticed only one of my license plate lights were working.

I will get back to you when I get a replacement bulb and try it.....hopefully, you put me on the right track!!! Fingers crossed.......

Damn, Richard.... didn't work--warning light still comes on intermittently with the date and time. Not sure which avenue to try next.

    Thanks for your thoughts, Rick

Another question.... what might cause my temp control dial to not change my temps?? The electronic dial changes output numbers from the 60's to the 80's on the screen but the actual output temp from the blowers never alters.... maybe this electronic stuff is way more than I need.
