    Hi all
New to the forum and to jeeps.
    Just bought a family run-around; 2003 Cherokee.
But sadly took it down to my local garage who haven't a good word to say about the car. Namely it needs a whole lot of front end work and engine mounts totalling nearly $2000.
The car does wobble slightly at low speed so I've no doubt there is some work needed but would really like to get a second opinion form a garage that knows jeeps.
I'm in Sherman Oaks, California and wonder whether there are any recommendations for garages/ mechanics ?
    Thanks in advance
    Alex

I am too far away to help with a good location but welcome to the forum.
Just note that engine mounts are not expensive and not all that hard to change. The steering components most commonly worn out are going to be a few hundred and again, not that hard to change. Get in touch with a local 4x4 club, they may be able to offer some help/tools/expertise.
