Hey! I’m looking to add rock lights to my 18 JKU. I live in the northern states where we get a lot of snow and road salt. Can my northern friends please share with me what brand you have, how long you’ve had them installed and anything else you feel helpful? Thanks!

Rocklights are on my bucket list one day or night as one of my 6-switch relay box is vacant. My Rocklight choice would not be as critical as headlights or auxiliary spot/wide beams but at my pricepoint of approximately $50 they all are LED and claim waterproof so that seems to be good enough for me. Hookup will be simple as the 6-switch relay box simplifies that task. A quick peek on Amazon looks like this:

Was thinking of getting a set of rock lights but don't want to be drilling into any metal. Bad enough I'm already seeing rust on my '18 JKU.

Since the rock lights are small and light-weight some brands use existing holes or bolts or drilled into the plastic wheel well liners. Check out this relatively expensive KC rock light kit to compare with less expensive alternatives:

Let us know what you decide as rock lights may be in my build one day.
Keep on top of the rust in the spring with some rust converter coating
