    1997 Jeep Wrangler
    installed new trans (used) and a brand new clutch went for a ride shift into fifth gear and car just revs up when I press gas no power to wheels what’s could this be no grinding of gears just flat out no power to tires. Please help sitting in garage just waiting for some help lol any ideas need some help

    Welcome! Sounds like the transmission you swapped in could be faulty? Maybe the linkage, or synchronizer?

    Welcome! As mentioned the used transmission is probably the issue. Problem engaging 5th gear at higher speeds when 1 thru 4 were not problematic should be indicative of the trans and not necessarily your installation.
