    Hi everyone,

I’m hopefully going to be a new member of the Jeep family soon. We found a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland Summit that we love.
I just wanted to reach out to anyone who happened to own or work on one of these and ask their opinion of it.
Is there anything that stands out mechanically that I should be weary of?

    Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! I bought my JK because there is nothing else like it  and accepted that FCA/Chrysler don't top the reliability charts (got my own tools) but this JK has been ultra reliable. Every brand of vehicle will need maintenance and 2011 or older vehicles are no exception. Buy what you like and appreciate it driving down the road. Consider getting the vehicle checked out thoroughly, maintenance schedules, carfax, ext warranty, etc. GC are not likely to have been heavily modified or abused off-road though you can do that too. Good luck and remember to post some pics.
