Door locks just don't work at all. So I took off the driver module and replaced it. That didn't work. Then I thought maybe it's the passenger door that has an issue.

I pulled the passenger door off and literally squeezed the wires to remove them from the switches and they locked the doors. Lol. While fidgeting with the wires I was able to lock and unlock the doors. Problem is that when I slid the plug back in, it didn't go all the way in maybe. The prongs looked straight.

Should I just replace that module? Or is there something with the plug from the harness?

Also what is this loose random plug that doesn't have a home?IMG_20181012_182325.jpg IMG_20181012_182341.jpg

I would inspect the plug and make sure all the wires are secure. Sounds to me like a wire/pin is not making contact or enough contact.
You shouldn't be able to lock and unlock the doors by just fiddling with the wires, unless you were pushing the lock/unlock button at the same time. Though I may have misunderstood what you were saying.

The extra connector is common, it could be for power/heated mirrors. Jeep used one wiring harness, if you have a low optioned Jeep you have a bunch of extra connectors. Luckily it makes it fairly easy to add those options later.

The harness itself seems secure.... It's the plug to door plug connection. Doesn't seem to be going all the way in.

The pins are bent in side the plug that’s why it’s not going all the way in. It happened to me. You have to take the lock out I had to buy a new own. They broke when I bent them back
