Breaking the bead on your tire

    Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
    If you ever want to change your own tires he 3 is how i break the beads on mine. Had to sidewall gashes on two of my tires at the chili challenge in NM 10 days ago. Getting all new tires and will save the old ones for spares. The CC was a blast. Can't wait to go back. FB_IMG_1540235575426.jpg

    Nice! I guess slightly less standard precautions while using the HighLift in this manner?

    Actually the trailer with a jku on it lifted 2 inches off the ground before the bead broke loose. Crazy.

    Sounds like a good trail fix and another potential use of the HighLift. But the stability or unstability of the HighLift still requires respect.

    i should post a pic of reseating a bead with ether,... someone might burn the hair off their arm also so i wont

    I set the wheel on a 5 gallon bucket. The weight of the tire sealed it on the wheel enough for the air pressure to build and seat the bead. Forgot to take a pic of it.
