I have 2000 jeep grand cherokee with the 4.7 in it and i have replaced all the sensors on it and replaced the ECM and my jeep still cuts off sometimes for no reason. when this happens i can move the black connector on the ECM and it will start back up anyone have any ideas what might fix this problem

FOR THOSE READING ALONG - shot gunning is the term used for this type of repair it gets expensive FAST!
lets get started - black is connector C1, i SEE All the important inputs/outputs running in out here.

Get a bottle of 'deoxit'* . remove connector then spray connector pins and cavities, make note and report any damaged pins. replace and secure connection.

SCAN for codes USE a SCANNER - often free at auto part stores where you get all those parts... POST all codes.

Tell us any modifications to engine or transmission - filters, chips proms, T'stat, plugs, anything.

    * google where to get, a common product

Jeepbeater, aggrex and OFFGRID like this.
