Hi, I have a couple jeeps and the first drove like crap before I changed tie rod ends and put a Fox sway bar in. But the new restored CJ5 seems a bit different to me, I drove it home for the first time yesterday from the shop...….wow, it was seriously all over the road. It is up on 35" tires, 4 1/2" lift (rough country), has a new sway bay. What else can I do? I'm not gonna drive it a lot but if needed I would like to! Open to ideas, Thanks

Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
No more than 20lbs of pressure in the tires. I run 12 in my 37s on my CJ. New bushings in the front springs and spring hangers. new Ball joints and tierod ends. Do you have a front sway bar? Many people remove them. If it's missing i would reinstall it.

I will do both of these and the air pressure. Do you think I should put a different Pittman arm in? HD? I have the 1 that came with the lift in I think.

At 4.5in of lift you will need a dropped pitman arm. The one that came with the lift is probably a droped pitman arm. Without it you will have a lot of bump steer.

Thanks, it feels like bump steer, death wobble, and anything else bad all wrapped up into 1. I'm going to check out the steering box, tie rods, drag Link, lower control arms, sway bar links, pitman arm, track bar, sway bars and whatever else that you said! I might as well have it perfect if getting into it.
