    Nicely restored 1972 Jeep Commando.

    I own a custom car dealership, and this is one of my personal vehicles. This vehicle is located in Rockville Maryland. Rare. Only 72,220 miles. Over a year to build. 4.2L Inline 6. starts every time and runs strong. New paint in original and correct Avocado Mist code. New custom made Alcan Springs 3" lift suspension including springs, shocks, u-bolts, and other hardware. New 3 core radiator, hoses, fuel lines, fuel sending unit, fuel filter, brake safety switch, professionally rebuilt carburetor, custom headliner by Rankin Upholstery, NOS rear seat with new vinyl cover. New weatherstripping. Hand made front and rear bumpers with front winch plate and rear spare tire swing arm provided by the Jeepster Guru. All new brakes, brake hardware, emergency brake cables. New original style antenna. Dana diffs, 3spd manual trans. New exhaust from manifold to exhaust tip. New gaskets, filters, and fluids. New spark plugs. New distributor cap and rotor. New battery.     3 inch zone lift. Fox 2.0 shocks. 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers. Bushwacker flat fenders. No name steel bumpers front and back for now.
    Why are you selling it?? That's an awesome ride. I know I'd have a hard time letting something like that go

    @Cenwman7 .....great job on the resto/custom Commando! Would have been killer in '72 if AMC used similar special bumpers, lift and attitude instead of just copying the Bronco grill. Might be the best looking modernized Commando that I've seen thats been updated with black 17" wheels, tires, bumpers and more.

    Thanks everyone. I really love this thing, but unfortunately I decided to get into a very expensive line of business, so I really need to sell it to keep things going. I'd rather not, as I'd wanted one of these for a while. I've been able to enjoy it a bit, and I hope it can go to someone who will really appreciate it. If y'all wouldn't mind, please spread the word so I can get her sold ASAP.
