Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
I want to pick ya'lls brain here. I'm helping a friend with his LJ build. Which "bellyup" skid plate are ya'll running? How much more clearance did it give you? If you did it again would you run a different skid plate? Thanks for your feedback?

Sitting on the sidelines here as TJs are a dream project one day but they all claim 2"+ and require additional mods SYE, ext drive shaft, spacer, etc so similar issues for the upgrade

A lot of that sounds like TJ issues. The LJ may not need the SYE and extended shaft with the extra length. I have read that some require body lift and some recommend it. I looked and we have about 2.5in of space before the tcase hits the body. The whole point of this build is to keep the center of gravity low and as much ground clearance as possible. so far we have 2in lift with 35s, but the belly keeps getting hung on rocks. A 1-2in body lift to get 2in of clearance isnt a good trade IMO. Im thinking i can make clearance in the necessary places with a 3lb hammer.

What tummy tuck kit did you use? Did you have to install a body lift. Teraflex states that 1in body lift is recommended with theirs, but to me that means doable without the body lift. If I find that the Tcase is touching somewhere . . . there is always the hammer. Think I will give them a call on Tuesday.
