Need some input if anyone out there may have some. Recently, I have been looking into the OME 2.5in lift kit. From what I'm gathering, you have to relocate the front shackles, can anyone confirm this? If so, does anyone have any information on the relocation, or what it entails? Thanks in advance for the time it takes to read, and, or respond.

Howell fuel injection, header, HEI distributor, TH350, NP208, SOA lift with YJ springs in the front & GW springs in the Rear. AMC20 with G2 1 piece chromos trussed, Dana 30 with G2 chromos and 760x ujoints and MM Stainless Hubs, Geared 4.56. Tom Woods shafts, Metal cloaks, Caged, 37" Toyo MTs.
For what Jeep are you talking about. Do you mean the CJ? Old man emu springs uses YJ springs which are a Half inch wider and a little thinner than the CJ spring hence the better ride. Because of the wider springs you will need yj hanger and shackles in the front for them to fit, not relocate them as you mentioned. The YJ spring will fit in the rear mounting of the front CJ spring mounts. I would piece this together from Rocky-road.com. Order their YJ spring conversion kit for the front. Order for OME YJ 2.5in lift springs, and your good to go. You would also want to order their 1in lift (5in long) rear shackles. You likely wont need the t case drop kit they recommend.

So, I ordered my OME lift kit with the YJ spring conversion the other day, and now I am in a holding pattern waiting for Rocky Road to package everything up and ship it to me.... Just hope it gets here in decent time so I can have it up and running by the beginning of April

Good lift choice for the CJ. Should make for a good build thread.
