Im planning to upgrade my ignition system on my 98 TJ (plugs, wires, ignition coil, distributor cap). Would anyone have any suggestions on quality performance parts or anything to stay away from.

Soon i will be upgrading fuel injectors also.

Any advice at all is better than what I have currently, so thank you.

Welcome @BlueTJ . Prefer OEM whenever possible but NAPA replacement parts should be reliable.

Welcome to the forum @BlueTJ. Agreed....OEM are preferred for the best performance for your TJ. Needless to say. Stay away for POS knockoffs. If you buy from a particular parts shop, and you trust them. Stay with them. If you buy online. I highly recommend Quadratec. They seller quality parts and back everything they seller. Shipping is Awesome too.

Alot of great people here. Hope ya hang around.

welcome - glad to have a new friend....:jeepwave:

i agree with The recommendation to use OEM KISS, there is nothing better.

If you must -The cap rotor and wires you MAY select a quality aftermarket if you can find the quality,

Do NOT go cheap on those spark plugs... use OEM type, no BS, Ugrove 3prong gold tipped etc.

Injectors - what is wrong with your injectors if you must get OEM , non of that BS 4hole 12 hole hype,

For spark plug wires go with MSD, They provide the least resistance and are quite durable.

Agreed. There are several aftermarket wire providers. And they do offer some benefits. But if they are not aavailable. Do not to hesitate to pull the trigger on OEM replacements. They will not disappoint.
    Post up your fix dude.
