My 1997 Jeep Wrangler just sat for a year. When I got to turning it on and it began screaming. Bearing going out, it sounded. So I pulled the obvious; a seized alternator pulley and replaced it. Still screaming. I pulled my AC compressor pulley and put in a bypass but it's still screaming. Except now I have a Check Gauges light and it appears it's not getting to temp.. I stopped it yesterday along the road to see if I wanted to continue and it refused to start back up. The screaming is light at first but gets louder as I lead into the gas. Any help, please? I've tried YouTube remedies on the 4.0 but nothing is working..

removing the year in county lead in might be a good start.

What type of jeep? year, model etc...
Of course check engine oil - gotta ask.
The not getting temp - check coolant,
When check gauge warning come on did you see - coolant temp or oil pressure gauge reading?

Remove serpentine belt this will remove all accessories from troubleshoot.
when key is moved to start -
    1) engine cranks wont start?
    2) just clicks are heard - no crank?
    3) water pump pulley will spin?

Did you replace the serpentine belt?
After sitting it has likely weathered and you may be hearing the belt slipping.
As Awrech said/asked, did you notice any gauge not reading correctly when the check gauges light came on?

I'm not sure if it wasn't reading correctly, or not at all. My coolant temp wasn't going up so I figured I'd sit it back at the house until something was figured out. I'm thinking it's something as simple as a new belt; I'd noticed the underside of it where the ridges are has been stripped? Sort of. With a lack of better words.

Welcome @LucerneWolfe92 ...seems you got several good leads to resolve your issues which involves a few separate systems. Removing the serpentine belt could help isolate the squealing as a/c clutch or bearings can squeal loudly. Make sure the battery is fully charged to remove one variable for the no-start. Any check engine lights get the codes read. ETC

Could be dried out bearing on the water pump especially if the seal was leaking slightly when it was parked.

Someone markets a product that attaches to the back of the the lightbar to deflect or change how the airflows through the lightbar. Check the reviews on Amazon for more info.

That's on my list of things to do as well, after I get around to adding another inch or two to the rear suspension.
