Hi!!! I am 56 years old and have been building rigs of all sort most of my life.........My adventure with Jeep had a long pause as the last one I owned was a '56 CJ5 Bought in '94 .......sold in 2000.....V8 all the stuff.............But now I am working on retirement and am looking at 4 door Wranglers.......I think I have figured out that I should be looking at 2012 and up??? as far as better power, torque etc, I will not be doing much if any heavy wheeling......pretty much just puddle jumping and cruising the mountains....
Any help would be greatly appreciated......

    Hello Kevin, welcome from Oklahoma.
They updated the Wrangler a little in 2013 so you might look for a 2013+.
Also some 2011-2013 Wranglers got an extended warranty on the driver side cylinder head for 10yrs/150K miles. Many members of my local Jeep group were effected by it though I would imagine if one was going to experience the issue they would have by now.
Good luck in you search and post up pics when you find one you like.

Welcome @Kjeep the 2012 JK introduced the 3.6L which did bump up the hp+torque. Updates in the interior trim were a nice addition.
