2017 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited - Opinion on price?

    I have an out of town friend selling a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sport unlimited, with 15k miles.

    Motor replaced 8 months ago BY Jeep as water got in the intake, from a deep puddle. Not sure how it happened but when I go check it out I'll check the frame to make sure theres no signs of problems. He promises it was a puddle in FL Ocala forest.

    Here are the upgrades:

    Tow package

    EXTERIOR UPGRADES
    20x9.5 black rhino wheels
    35x10.5 Toyo Mud terrain tires
    4 inch pro comp suspension lift with nitro shocks steering stabilizer and upgraded sway bar
    Metal stubby front bumper with led cube lights
    Metal rear bumper with oversized tire carrier and back up led cube lights
    Metal fender flares
    Angry eye front grill
    Dv8 inner fenders
    50 inch color changing light bar With brackets
    Color changing Rock lights(under-glows) with bluetooth controls

    Interior Upgrades and sound system
    Full factory upgraded alpine sound system with stock subwoofer
    7 inch pioneer head unit with Bluetooth Sirius Xm radio and App-radio mode
    Custom rear subwoofer box to match front grill of Jeep with custom lighting
    2 300 watt 12 inch legion audio shadow subwoofers
    420 w legion audio amplifier
    White kicker dual marine boat tower speakers
    400 w marine wet sound amp
    300 w legion audio bullet tweeters


    He's willing to sell it to me for 34k, without the pioneer head unit and the subwoofers.

    What do you think?

    Welcome @double_jn_it . Jeep has nice upgrades but you have to decide whether that's the jeep style you like or if you like to build your own. Price similar JKU sports in your area to see whether it's a deal. Replaced engine would be concern for me as it may be recorded on the Carfax for future considerations. Whether trans or axles were submerged or the interior may be another concern. IMO proceed cautiously as electronics + water don't mix well...etc

    On a recent jeep trek the JKU I followed had them too. Real nice!
