I've had the JLUR for just over a year and 10,000 miles now. Still love it, though there are a few annoyances with the Uconnect and stop-start system not to mention the rear window on eternal backorder (broken defroster connection).

The start-stop system is mostly just annoying, but there have been a few instances when trying to get across an intersection in traffic that the delay in acceleration made things a bit closer than I would like.

The Uconnect system, while decent, comes with the weather alerts. Nice to have if they were accurate to ones location. Almost all of the alerts I get are from a county or two away. During spring, fall and winter, the weather in SEPA changes frequently. When we (or anyone within 3 hours) get a weather event, be it snow, rain or wind, the stream of alerts is almost constant. Each needs to be cleared off the screen manually.

The Tazer JL has the capability of turning off both of these features. It can also adjust ones speedo for larger tires and a myriad of other things. Does anyone have any experience with the Tazer products?

Sorry I didn't answer your text buddy. Home sick today, and I was asleep. I have read a few people get other issues with the Tazer JL, such as the display telling you to push the clutch to start, but you have no clutch ( auto ). There has to be some way to change the alerts on your U-connect.

I hope you are feeling better. I will be needing your full Endgame review when you feel better.

I've seen some issues with the push clutch to start alert. I would think that was a Tazer programming issue which could be taken care of with an update (I would think). They have been updating the systems with new features pretty regularly.

I have no need for most of the features, but being able to turn off the weather alerts and start-stop are tempting. Maybe not $329 tempting though. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off the alerts, short of cancelling all things SiriusXM.

I hear ya. My weather alerts seem to be accurate for me, out here, but......its AZ. As for the Stop/Start thing, I use my JL Engine Start System, which entails pushing the button to start, followed by pushing the Auto start button. One extra step, but much less expensive.

I may have also gotten your wind alert.

Seriously, I get storm alerts for areas within a 6 hour radius. Places I never want to go to. Like New Jersey. :puke:

I've seen others with the same issue as me on FB and other forums. Some have approached their dealership and/or FCA with no solution.

Nice mini JLUR 10K review. Can't imagine the anxiety that stop-start system would cause me with the engine shutting down at an intersection or in the back of stopped vehicles in a shady part of town. Avoiding a collision or jockeying for position in heavy stop+go traffic would be annoying. FCA can't convince me that any minor mpg bump is worth the potential starter or engine wear. I'd make a habit of hitting that cancel button every time like clicking my seat belt.

This is why I don't want a new Jeep all that crap and none of it to do with actual Wheeling. Maybe the jeep is rebelling from all the fancy stuff? Seriously tho guys that sucks and chrystler needs to get their €¥√π÷ together yall are beyond loyal Jeep owners apparently now you're guinea pigs also.
