Hey yall. I'm starting to look into engine swaps, I've always wanted to swap a 427 into a jeep, wondering if anyone had any starting ideas or threads or sites?!

Check out websites like this: https://www.advanceadapters.com/categories/jeep-mounts/297/ Just because an engine is available doesn't mean thats the best course of action. Research engine swap combinations that others have had some success otherwise custom work will be required. It's a big project to say the least. Post what you discover and decide on.

Ain't the 427 power band pretty high low end torque is better for a Jeep unless you're drag racing it

There's been a few 6.4 and 6.2SC swaps on newer jk/jl platform. Mopar sells the crate motor and the harness/ecu.

I'd like to see a 6.4 swap in a scrambler or LJ.
Put my Challenger 392 on 2 dynos before I sold it. 439hp/426 ft/lb to the ground.

I got my eye on that 180 hp 270 ft lbs of torque at 1800 rpms Cummins 4 cyl crate motor

Cuz it's lighter and can tweak that to prob 225 hp just can't decide if my knee can handle a clutch again or stay automatic
