Hey guys I was wondering If anybody know anything about steering columns. in second gear at about 2k-2800 rmp my steering wheel shakes, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on this. Maybe if there's a bearing in the steering column gone bad? control arms?

Welcome @bdutton11 .....your post doesn't state what you're driving or any recent mods or prior accidents etc. Starting from the basics wheels could be unbalanced or shocks/steering components worn or loose. Hit a pothole lately or tires wearing abnormally?

I would suggest starting at the front tires, as they can start to come apart. Then to the bearing adjustment and rod ends.

Thanks for replying! I’m running 35’s on a 6inch lift. It’s got rubi shocks, I recently brought my 2000 tj in for alignment and all was good. The front tires are a little more worn than the back but the front two are even

My back tires wear a little faster than my front due to my lead foot lol

Big lifts look awesome but bring vibration issues that need to be worked out. Start looking at loose steering components. Inspect the track bar bolts are properly torqued and/or bolt hole enlargement.
