I recently cleaned out the cowl drain to stop the leaking inside my jeep and the side panel under the windshield had tape over the hole. Do I need to replace the tape and if so what do I use

    Hello Collette, welcome from Oklahoma.
Tape over the hole? Sounds like someone had already tried to keep it from leaking into the cab, but I don't have a Wrangler so I can't confirm if this was factory or not.
Sorry, but again welcome to Jeeps.net

Welcome @Jeepgirl2007 ...despite what they say about jeeps...tape covering a hole is probably DIY. But if it stops a particular leak I'm good with it. Plumbers putty would last longer.

Agree....Gotta be a DIY fix. Play Doe works just as well. And it comes In various colors....:p. Just kidding.

If the duct tape works keeping Jeep dry. I would consider an alternative as @aggrex suggested..
