Whenever I have my automatic lights on my headlights come on but my tail lights don't come on or stay on, they only come on when I press the brake pedal... How can I fix this?

I had this happen before, and it turned out to be a bad wiring harness/connection near the battery. Different vehicle though.

Possible filaments in the tail light section are burned out? Brake light and tail light are a separate filament. My jeep joes thru tail light bulbs like crazy front blinker also I think the front is due to water. It's possible the back goes due to the load shift when the fronts don't work.

Could be a bare / broken wire, also.
