Welcome to the forum @bryceowen . I feel as Awrench posted. Start with the basics. And most important.
Then we can talk bout aftermarket upgrades and mods for some off road fun. My girlfriend has a 98. And we are just finishing up some basic needs of a 20 year old ZJ. Tranny maintenance, bad bushings, and fluid changes etc. We will be adding some mods in the future. I'll tag you as we make these mods. Which does include a lift. We did just install a 50 inch light bar. But thats a cosmetic mod. More functional upgrades to follow.
