I've heard from several sources that some 99 Wrangler parts are compatible with Cherokee parts? Can anyone confirm this and tell me which parts are? Looking for a Front Driveshaft and Power Steering parts.

most recyclers (junk yards) utilize interchange manuals ie "Hollander Interchange" , you could look at the OEM parts #s for the parts see if they are the same.

The PS seams likely the drive shaft not as sure as the wheel base is different BUT there are the mentioned resources you can check above.

Welcome @TeamOwens98 ...outside of reliable sources tread carefully as some parts can get updated even within the same build year. Cross-references from parts supply manufacturers can be another source.

The front axles from XJs are bolt in, the 92ish-99 are the better as they are high pinion. The later 96-99 are preferred, the 00-01 are low pinon just like the TJ had.
The transmissions should interchange as well for the most part. I believe the tcase may be clocked slightly different.
The 4.0 from the XJ will interchange with the 97-99 TJ, but I would avoid the 00-01 XJ as it has a 0331 head that is known to crack.

I'm thinking of putting the high pinion 30 on front of my LJ with some chromolly axles in it and truss it instead of the outrageous price of a used front 44 .they want for a used 44 just about what G2 wants for theirs
