Hey everyone. I’ve got a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. A few months ago the air stopped blowing mid drive. I’ve had the issue before so I swapped out the Blower Motor Resistor but this time the air stayed on when hooked back up. I checked the blower motor 40A and swapped it with another fuse under the hood but I’m still having the same results. If I plug in the pigtail harness, it stays on even with the key out. I’ve purchased a second blower motor resistor from a different supplier and have the same results. PLEASE any help is appreciated.

This is a look at my fuse/relay box. I am lacking some of the listed fuses and have never had them

I believe it’s automatic temp controls.

OK Matt, attached is the diagram of the AZC circuit.
Looking at the BLOWER motor there are 2wires, DG (dark green) and BK/TN (Black With tan ) I suspect the connector at the blower motor may be damaged, they overheat and melt. OR the BK/TN wire is grounded.
Hoping you can handle the wiring ck - if not let us know.

Removing the underhood fuse box fuse (PDC) fuse #1 a 40 amp will disable blower and get you some working time.

Question about other fuses AFTER we solve this OK?
