Hi guys! Sorry, me again. So I got my 06 LJ repainted and I only got pictures of a measuring tape against all the decals but not the actual measurements...I know, dumb. Anyway could any of you if you have an LJ please help me out and send me the measurements of the rubicon decal on the hood, the Jeep decal on drivers side, and the unlimited below it ? I’m sorry I know it’s a lot to ask thank you

Funny thread to me. I just spent an hour today with a razor blade and Goof Off removing the Wrangler letters and the X logo from the TJ. I personally hate decals from manufacturers and generally remove all the decals on any new vehicle. In the case of the 2018 JLUR, I made an exception for the RUBICON stickers on the hood and the JEEP letters on the lower fenders. Today was an effort on the 2003 TJ, although I did leave the JEEP lettering since they are on embossed metal.

Manufacturer stickers don't bother me car dealership stickers and even some drilled in infuriates me

    Agreed.

Dealers hate me, I take their decals off the minute the car is mine including their stupid license plate brackets. I refuse to advertise for someone that charged me for the vehicle. Years ago, I bought an Oldsmobile Aurora and after I de-badged it, the only place it said Oldsmobile was in 1/4 inch lettering above the radio.....LOL. Many times when I would stop for gas people would ask me what kind of car it was.

In the case of the TJ, it is black and I need to get the paint buffed out and thought it would look better without the X logo and the Wrangler lettering. For God's sake even the two year old down the street knows that its a Jeep......LOL

Which begs the next question, has anyone ever buffed out the paint on an old Jeep? What did you use and what were the results? Sorry for the thread hijack.
