I've replaced the climate control unit and everything worked for a few days. Then the dome lights started to flicker, windows worked intermittently and eventually not at all and heat/ac stopped again.
I checked the wiring between the door and body on both sides but all wires look good.
    Any other suggestions?
This is my work vehicle so if it's costly I'll get rid of it.

Right off hand you could get a wiring diagram to for common wiring that those items share. Although, for a '96 grand that would involve a lot of searching. At least check for secure battery connections. Many poor electrical issues are caused by bad ground connections. Sometimes adding a temporary ground wire to the circut can locate the issue.

Thank you for the feedback. I did disconnect the battery a few times while playing with the wires. Idk if a wiring diagram is online but I'll look.
