After discussing with my shop I decided to go Teraflex 4 inch coils and lower front control arms. Wonder if I need to address steering (draglink flip/drop pitman arm) right away? 4 inch coils/shocks with lower front CA's will probably take care of centering the axle, but steering is something I'm completely unfamiliar with.

Does anyone here have a 4 inch lift with stock steering components? If altered, what route did you take pitman/draglink flip/etc?

I think you'll be OK for a while.
You'll need to decide if losing up travel is worth going high steer. You'll lose 3" of up travel because the drag link will hit the frame rail.

I've installed the Teraflex drag link and tie rod on a buddy's Jeep and they seem nice. I run the Steersmarts on both our Jeeps. Seems like I made it almost 40k miles before I had to replace them.

Okay. I have driven a Jeep JKU with 4 inch springs/shocks with no additional mods and it did feel flighty, but nothing difficult. I imagine adding track bars/control arms would make it more manageable. Id think going any higher than 4 then the draglink flip would be nearly necessary. I don't rock crawl, but the sand still makes my jeep use all of its uptravel. Hmm, what to do.....
