Need help, I just purchased a 1966 jeep CJ tuxedo mark IV. The previous owner was not helpful and this is my first jeep. But if so.eone can help answer a question for me. On the floor to the left of the shift lever are two other levers, I assume one of them is the high low range for 4 wheel drive, but what is the other for and which one is which?

Thanks all for the reply, that is exactly what I have. Now I have another question though. This jeep has the original 4 speed transmission in it. Is there a possible 4speed with OD or 5 speed that can bolt up to the motor. I have the 6 cylindar motor.

You would have to research that one out. All I know is that it goes onto the power take off outlet on the transfer case and there would be another stick coming out of the floor to operate it. A call to Advance Adapters would get you more accurate info.
