Sometime it starts, sometimes it won't...had the safety neutral replaced

i can not figure out why this is happen iput new start in it replace safety neutral i got this jeep used off a car dealer and i had it two years nowand had to put a new motor in it because spun a bearing.now i have this problem trying to solve.not happy with jeepat all i had cj and yj no problem with themanyone have this problem and if so can you help me thanks

 

This is a 2007, with a 42RLE.
A start circuit was SO simple but MICAHI has replaced KISS. GD millennials, they could ruin a "good" dream.

you claim "replace safety neutral' is this the TRS Transmission range sensor?
Start with a SCAN using a good scanner as there may be some codes that may help (ie P0706).
The wiring is STOCK no added BS - remote, added alarm, etc.
Might want to swap relay with a like and less used relay - horn,?

There is a known issue with TIPM time permitting I will get details while I await the answers to above. Scan and modifications, and relay swap/check.

That aftermarket BS would be a focus. BUT you still need to scan.

Are you comfortable with wiring diagrams a scanner and a DVOM ?
We could get you a wiring diagram of start circuit to aid troubleshooting.
