Mopar 2" lift, 37" BFG KO2's, KMC Rockstar 17" wheels, JCR Offroad front and rear bumpers, WARN Zeon 10-S, CoolTech CB Radio Kit, Rock Slide Engineering step sliders, TeraFlex adjustable steering stabilizer, Rock Krawler adjustable track bars,Magnaflow dual tip black exhaust.
Today I used a M.O.R.E. 1" body lift kit and replaced all the old dirty, cracked and tired rubber bushings. The lift was rather uneventful, several of the body bolts were very tight, but I used a breaker bar to loosen them, then an impact wrench to remove.

My first question is, what is the correct torque setting for the bolts. When I used 50 ft/lbs on the side bolts and 35 ft/lbs on the rear bolts, it squashed the replacement bushing quite a bit so i back off.

The second question is a bit more involved. The 1" body lift kit suggests that the fan shroud and fan be removed and new holes drilled in the radiator bracket to support the 1" lift. But I am also planning on installing a 1" motor mount lift. Won't the MML negate the need to moved the shroud by one in.

In other words, the 1" BL raised the grill/radiator/shroud by one inch making the fan likely to hit the shroud. The 1" MML will now raise the engine and the fan by one inch making the shroud able to be re-mounted in the original holes. Is that correct?

It makes sense that the MML would compensate for the body lift. As far as torque:
    -- Body Mounts "lift"
-- Radiator to frame 35 flbs
-- Main floor to frame 50 flbs
-- Rear floor to frame 35 flbs

    Chiltons

Hold on a minute, I'll talk louder so that you can understand. Isn't that what you're supposed to do?
