Hi everyone, first time visitor, first time contributor!

Just bought a 2008 Wrangler Unlimited X for $13,000.00 with 109,293 miles. Manual Transmission. Totally stock.

This Jeep is kind of a leap of faith because I'm trading in a perfectly fine car at the end of its lease with less than 40k miles for this Jeep with 110k.

    Here's a link to the vehicle: https://www.coasthonda.com/auto/used-2008-jeep-wrangler-unlimited-x-sea-girt-nj/35131419/

    Carfax shows:
    - 1 owner
    - oil changes every 3k
    - new water pump @82k
    - new radiator @107k
    - new front brakes, rotors, tires, egr valve @ current mileage

    Was this a good deal?

Are there any repairs I should anticipate based on the age and mileage?

Thanks to anyone who can chime in!

Welcome @NoBailing ...looks like a well maintained JKU thats been kept stock which can be a plus. Clean JKUs tend to retain good resale values as you've experienced.

Welcome to the forum @NoBailing. Awesome leap of faith. I'm sure you won't regret it.
My opinion. Based on the recent upgrades and or repairs. I think you paid a fair price.
Your plans on keeping it stock. Or just empty every pocket into upgrades?

    Thanks @JKBob 25

I plan to do some upgrades but don't know what yet. Open to suggestions. I don't have a ton of expendable cash now but that situation should change in early 2020... worst case is it stays stock until then.

Are you familiar with this dealership? Looks like you're on the Jersey shore, and this is in Sea Girt up on the north shore.

Yeah I was surprised. It looks like '07s are easier to find but I heard those have more issues.

Each generation had unique issues. Hopefully at 100k yours is past that stage or been rectified. At this point it could be just 12yr old maintenance issues .

I'm fimilar with the Dealership. Never dealt with them thou. So I couldn't tell you good or indifferent about them.
As far as upgrades and mods. What's your vision for It? Lifted...larger tires...Or just basic appearance. Door handle inserts, gas cap cover, fender flares etc. Post up any questions. Buncha good people that can help.
