have a 1991 yj with 4.0 motor. Just hade the motor rebuilt. Have a ticking noise somewhere on in the top. I just replaced all lifters and one rocker arm that I thought was the ticking. Any ideas what else it could be??

That's probably what it is. If it was just replaced, it should be full of oil. a stethoscope could help you find where it is. But, you maybe might have to pull the valve cover for a better look. Like it could be a worn or bent pushrod, worn down cam lobe, or loose rocker. The 4.0 is known for cracking exhaust manifolds, it does make a similar noise. My $.02

    Welcome @Greenbean706 to the forum.
Is the timing set? Bad timing can cause weird issues also.
Good luck. Post up your fix.
