I'm new to the forum and need help getting started with restoring my 88 Jeep Wagoneer XJ. I've Googled every form of "Jeep parts" and mainly find parts for other models. Is there a "go-to" source for things like fuel tank and sender, A/C parts, window mechanisms, etc? I'd like to find a one-stop-shop for Cherokees, if possible.

    Thank you,
    Joe

a lot of replacement parts are not made anymore. Therefore the junkyard is a good place to go. The problem with the junkyard is finding an adequate supply of donor vehicles. This is because a lot of xj"s were in the cash for clunkers program and are long gone. Ihave been going to the junkyards for about 10 years now. Between the jeep forums and the junkyards, I have gotten a good idea what to pick-up at the junkyard if I ses it.
