I'm trying to reinstall my push rod and rockers, how do I know for use my push rods are centered right on the tappet plunger cap seat? Do I have to move each piston as I reinstall each rocker? Also I have tightened down one of my rockers and its not stable, it's loose. Before I took them off I checked all of them, and they were all stable. Can anybody give my there advice, Thanks....

Ideally we want to replace used push rods into same location, be sure to use torque wrench (21 ft. lbs.) tighten screws alternately.
Now if loose - I suspect the lifter is not fully extended sludge varnish - or the lifter is bad,
    Were they new lifters?

Some seafoam* down onto lifter and some RISOLONE into engine oil at start up

*@ 1 ounce want it on/in the lifter only.

No they arent new lifters, My head gasket blew, So i decided that while I had the head off I'd go ahead and pull my rockers and clean them up a bit...
Do I have to move the pistons into a specific position for each rocker?

You don't have to rotate the engine when installing the rockers, it helps take the tension off of them when the valve is in the closed position but it is not required.
Torque them to spec, leave the valve cover off and start the Jeep. See if the lifter pumps up and things get better. If not you may remove the rocker and try to reinstalling it.
