    Welcome @Ryanryan ...the JK/jku are very capable out-of-the-box off-road but towing has never been its forte. Max towing numbers varied in the past on the year, axle ratio, jk vs jku, etc but larger vehicles like for example the RAM p/u will offer more stability and safety while towing max loads.
