    Hello,

I got a wrangler JL, and was wondering why when its windy I am all over the road. Someone had suggested getting wider tires.

High profile vehicles tend to have this issue. You are driving a big square brick down the road a side wind will try to push the vehicle around. Lift and bigger tires don't help the situation.
There are numerous Jeep wind memes for a reason. lol

Welcome @Tam ...just curious at what highway speeds we talking about? The JL suspension was redesigned to be more compliant and stable on the road. Perhaps this is your first JK/JL experience which will be much different from regular vehicles. Test drive another JL on similar roads. Earlier JLs had issues with frame welds and there is a TSB on the steering stabilizer, etc.

Welcome to the forum @Tam .
So....You have experienced a Jeep wrangler in windy conditions. You can now consider yourself a true Jeeper.
Take the most unareodimatic object you can think of.....a brick. As mentioned above. Now put a sail on it. Hence a Wrangler in the wind. Absolutely no fun in high wind conditions at highway speeds especially. Lifts kits don't help. In fact , make it worse. Wider tires....whoever told you that. Has no idea what their talkin bout. It's a Wrangler. You'll learn to drive it in the wind. :jeep:

Your first Jeep....You'll love it.

Slowing down would help since modifying it beyond the manufacturers design does change how it handles on the road.
