My TCC is locking up and doesn't seem to shift into 3rd or 4th gear when I'm on the highway. The wires to this solenoid are damaged. How can I fix this?

I was assuming that my fluid and filter need to be changed online 46rh transmission but if these wires are my problem I would rather fix the problem than work on something that isn't the problem.PHOTO_20191010_172212.jpg

at the trans case how many cavity's in the connector,

You could replace the connector - often they come with several inches of wire, OR cut the wires several inches up where you can work with solder heat shrink,

NOW with connector in hand a parts store can match shape cavity's OR search on line -

NOW remember this the a 46rh not the common trans for a 98 ZJ. I do not know for sure if different trans to trans.

For thise lookiing for connectors try this

When I do a search online, I can't find just the connector and the ones I see come with the solenoid which is about 60 bucks. What should I search on an auto parts website, like the search term?

I think rewiring is out the question because that is my rewire lol I had a problem with the OD light staying on because one of them was disconnected. I rewire them all and got rid of that problem for a short while and then it came back because the wiring came undone. I rewired it this time and I haven't had an OD light yet, but now I have this problem.

The light blue wire read 12 volts, the green wire read negative, and I couldn't get a reading on the purple wire. My OD light doesn't come on with the key turned in the on position if I press the button.PHOTO_20191015_121122.jpg

I'm going to work on my starting issue and my shifting issue at the same time. Does anybody know how difficult it is to change torque converter clutch solenoid on my 46rh? I've never changed a solenoid in a transmission so a step-by-step guide or video would be very helpful.
