    Hi all,

I wanted to pick your brains on a car that I'm thinking about picking up, like, yesterday.

It's a 2015 Cherokee Sport. I test drove it last night for like 45 minutes; I practically fell in love. I've never owned a Jeep before, so I found my way here in hopes that I could get some real expertise, experience, and knowledge from you all.

    The specs are:
    V6 VVT 3.2L
    4WD
    93k miles
    Tow Hitch
    Heated-everything package
    Cloth interior
    New strut bars
Immaculate inside the cabin and engine compartment
    Backup camera
    100% clean CarFax
Originated in Saskatchewan - was in a minor incident with an animal (it was only a $600 repair)

They're asking $11,600. My budget is more than twice that. It seems like it's almost "too good to be true" but I think I've done my due diligence on it and (I think) it all checks out. It's from a very reputable used car dealership here in town, and they are a "volume" dealer, so they don't keep cars for very long nor do they mark them up much.

And that, is what brought me here. I'd appreciate any input. Many thanks in advance!

    Brian

Get the vehicle inspected for DTC, outstanding recalls and the "minor" impact. Seems above average mileage. Mostly FCA infused jeep so watch for electronic issues and the rep on the trans too.

Thanks for the info. I have an appointment for a Used Car Inspection at 3:00. Here's to hoping it passes with flying colors!

No recalls, everything so far looks good. Super excited!
