    Trying to decide if its better and more cost effective to buy a put together lift kit or build one yourself with components from different manufacturers? I'm just waiting for those black friday/cyber monday deals!

    IMO for myself (novice) = prefer a more complete kit from a major brand with components tested + designed to work together. Northridge 4x4, Quadratec, etc usually have some deals going on. Post up what deals you find interesting.

    I've done both and prefer a package.
    Not so much for price (if going quality) but I prefer to know that the manufacturer has put in time to make sure the shocks match the spring rates, etc.

    Thanks for the advice! Any experience with coilovers? I'm considering running them in the front and traditional spring and shock in the back.
