I have a 97 grand cherokee zj. I'm currently dealing with a low idling issue. In park vehicle idles just fine. In gear drops to about 400. I already replaced the idle air control valve and cleaned the throttle body but no change v6 4.0

Right off hand I would suggest checking the throttle stop for wear. If so, adjusting it should help. Somewhere you are not getting enough air into the throttle body.
