Not directly related to your question but how did you roll the chevy out of curiosity?

I have not done such a swap so take my comments with a grain of salt. ( in other words, you may want to just ignore me. :) ) Some fabrication will be required for the motor mounts. You will likely require a larger radiator and customized shroud. Heat is always an issue so expect to modify the hood for better airflow.

I would imagine you have already thought of all of this but...just in case. lol

Some of the premade kits can sure be a help at times like this:

My girlfriend rolled it actually just went off the road and over corrected. thx c2T, i dont ignore any advice though i have an air cleaner from a 68 Camaro on it, so i planned on running it hoodless or atleast make a cut out for it. I know the hood is low on these jeeps i wasnt sure if the engine itself would even fit with the stock hood. I have a 4 core radiator i got out of a wrecked city truck 2500 its brand new. havent measured that to see if its fit, it was goin on my truck. customized shroad though could i just run one flex fan( runs all the time) wiht some water wetter maybe just to keep it a little lower? think thatd work?

The flex fan's success will depend upon how you end up using the rig. My experience (with other people's troubles) is at low crawling speeds you need the shroud to help keep everything cooler. Especially if you leave the hood off. That can actually reduce the airflow through the radiator. Not such a big deal at road speeds of course but at low speeds...well, that can be an issue. And mechanical fans can also be an issue if you are going to be doing any deep water crossings. Then electric can be better. If those things don't apply then a good flex fan is cheap enough. Hope that 4-core fits.

    Good luck with the project!!

I gave up on flex fans 40 years ago. Since then I throw flex fans in the trash! You will want to run some form of high CFM electric fan with a shroud.
