    Terrific news! Official word has come down from the USFS regional supervisor regarding Soldier Pass Trail and the decision will be to keep the trail OPEN to both permitted outfitter guides and to the 4x4 public! Rejecting the earlier draft decision, the new decision embraces "Option C," providing for limited public and private use via a gate and permit system. This is the option we have long been in favor of and we look forward to working with the Red Rock Ranger District on its smooth implementation. THANK YOU to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to write, rally, go to meetings and get involved in this process. It was your hard work and dedication that led to this far more equitable outcome!

    Yeah. THey wanted to close it, and only allow access to a local Jeep Tour business. Kinda shitty to only allow business and not the public.....on public land.
