Stock radio no sound from speakers

    I have a stock radio, and it has just stopped playing sound in speakers, all other power is on, display works fine but nothing coming out of speakers, any ideas

    Any recent under dash work recently? Any after market electrical components installed?

    Could be a number of things to check out: broken speaker wire(s) or shorted wire(s) or defective or disconnected connector at radio or dead radio output or ETC.

    Nothing aftermarket, no mute button, we were driving it normal and the sound just shut off. then after about 30 minutes it started working again, any othe rideas for trouble shooting this issue
