This may be a stupid thread... But I'm fed up with this crap... My wheel on my 1989 Jeep Comanche WILL NOT COME OFF. I've tried spraying it to loosen it up, tried whacking on the front and the back with a big long mallet... I've tried loosening the lug nuts and driving awhile, I've tried prying from behind with a thick 10 foot crow bar, no movement at all... And this wheel was just put on about two months ago. Anyone have any ideas what else I can try?

I used to have a Ford like that. The clearance on the back tires were so tight that every time I rotated my tires I would have to get my 10lb sledge and whack it, rotate tire, whack it, rotate tire, and whack it again until it came off. The rotating tire after every whack is important.

I managed to get it off after 5 driving sessions of jerking left and right! Thanks for the replies, I'll remember the rotation next time though.
