    Hello,
I can not find a new exhaust intermediate pipe "Ex manifold to muffler" I checked all online jeep auto parts that i could think of and my local auto part stores. they all list muffler to tail pipe but but no listing for a exhaust manifold to muffler. any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks.

On my 258, there is a tube going between the two. it is located under the carb. A Jeep CJ repair manual should provide more detail.

The pipe I need has the flared end for a exhaust donut with a flange and bolts to exhaust manifold. The 258 may be a different setup. No local jeep clubs in this area. Have spent hours searching google I found all parts except the one I need.
I may have to find a exhaust shop to bend and flair one for me.
    Thanks for replying.

Different types of exhaust manifolds are available for different engines. An intercooler is one type of exhaust manifold. There are many possibilities when deciding which exhaust system will fit your engine:

EFI type exhaust manifolds are designed for use with EFI and Fuel Injection systems. A turbofan type exhaust manifold is designed to fit turbocharged engines. I.E. those with turbocharger and a fuel injection system. If you have a non-turbocharged engine with a fuel injection system you should select an intercooler type exhaust manifold.
