I'm not much of a car guy but I always wanted a CJ and I got to enjoy this one for about 6 years. I probably spent 15k upgradeing it and making it safer (new engine, antilock brakes). All the work was done by a professional jeep shop just outside of DC (happy to have you talk to them if you want) . .and it probably needs another 2k to make it primo (new gas guage and parking brake are the two big things)

    Rust is minimal

Starts right up and drives perfectly.

Just time to save for college :)

    I'm asking $8200
If you need more pictures, let me know.

About 20 minutes outside of DC in Maryland.

The Jeep is wonderful - new engine and modern braking system and very little rust and no rust in the parts that matter.
The only things that need to be replaced are:
    1. A new parking brake (which I've lived with for 4 years so not that big a deal)
    2. A new fuel gauge

I've got a bikini top for it, backseat and doors.

@aggrex I hearya. I've wanted a Jeep since I was a young kid and parting with it is definitely painful but I figure in 6 years I can upgrade - which of course means older :)
