Hi my name is Bernie and new to Forum. I just bought a 2018 jeep wrangler S Sport 4 doors with 25, mls. a few months ago and I am experiencing a problem with the jeep after it runs for awhile and I turn it off, parked it for awhile. Try to start it again either with the remote or manually and cranks for a few seconds, sometime it goes on or sometime it does not. After a few try eventually goes on. The jeep has being to the Jeep several times and they can not figure out the problem. If any one is experiencing similar problem please advise. Thanks, Bernie

Welcome to the site! The most common issues that cause this are:
    • Torn air intake boot
    • Weak fuel pump
    • Dirty throttle bore
    • Worn out spark plugs
    • Bad engine temperature coolant sensor
    • Low cylinder compression
    • Check engine light
    • Misreading MAF sensor
Is your Check Engine light on?

If your Jeep is showing a cel then that could be a factor.

Hi chris4x4, thank you for replying. There is no Engine light, the dealer stated that there is no codes, no alerts of any kind. They checked FPCM connector and grounds, checked fuses and relays, checked connection at cam sensor, reconfigured BCM and tested and its all OK. The dealer replaced the MODULE FUEL but did not solved the problem. They suggested to start a ( Star) case but they need to keep the jeep for an extended period of time. Thanks Bernie

That sucks, when the modern technology doesn't work right and the dealer can't figure it out. And on the older vehicles you can no longer get parts that you need.
