ani picked up some 3 way coaxil 6x9 speakers for the front door and wonder if they will work ?as it is now the car came with a set of speakers in the lower door side panel and a tweeter mounted up in the dash and i think they are wired in unision meaning the door speaker provides the bass the bass and the tweeters make up the high's i think some type of crossover is used to make this happen its almost a componet speaker set up can anyone confirm this ? . I just want to know if i can hook up the 6 x 9 speakers and have no issues

Welcome @Kenwood1234 ....Check out crutchfield.com as they have an extensive information on what fits in nearly any vehicle. I doubt 6x9 speakers would fit in the front doors as most doors are usually 4" or 5" round speakers and 6x9 back in the day were on the rear deck.
