    2015 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk
    Thinking about getting a light bar for my 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk .Thinking about 3 areas, 1/ Just above the windshield, 2/ On the bumper probably a 22 in or 3/ behind the lower grill and what should I pay attention to when picking one out... From Canada..Thanks

    5BD22C3F-9C9C-4C2B-B3FE-171FA44B2C6F.jpg I’m no light bar expert but the windshield mount will likely require drilling and there may be wind noise. Bumper mount will be easier with a front grill guard but depending upon your jurisdiction they may need to be covered. I’ve mounted a light bar behind the grill on a non-Jeep. The bonus is it’s hidden from theft and the local DMV. I like the light bars from Quadratec J-series for the price, quality and range of sizes. The unique part is the 3 to 5 amber lights built-in that can be functional 24/7 versus the off-road use only light bar beams. I have the 17” and 28”

    Big complaint with lightbars above the windshield is whistling. There are ways to try and deal with the noise from putting pieces of rubber hose in the cooling fins to a plastic cover such as AeroLidz.
